Description[?]:
The Luxury Goods Sales tax has been determined by the authors of this legislation to be an undue burden upon the citizenry of the Great Commonwealth of Rutania. The money removed from Rutania's dynamic, strong economy works to the overall detriment of the country through its expenditure on pork-barrel projects and un-needed, outdated government programs. In addition, the Luxury Goods Sales Tax discourages the overall consumption of Luxury Goods, and thus is detrimental to the country's Gross Domestic Product. Healthy Corporations are a vital part of any sucessful economy. Taxing these corporations impedes overall national economic progress. At the time of the proposal of this bill, the corporate tax provides 1% of the revenues accrued by the Government of Rutania. This trivial amount of money ought to be in the hands of those most capabable of ensuring its exponential growth in the form of investment in business endeavors. This bill proposes that the Corporation Tax be lowered to 0%. |
