Bill: The Grand Amalgamation part 1: Fusion of Powers Act 2529

Details

Submitted by[?]: Coalition for National Unity [CNU]

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2529

Description[?]:

As part of the New Conservative dream of a consolodated and consice government, the CMP introduce the first Act of the Grand Amalgamation programme, the Fusion of Powers Act 2529.

The Fusion of Powers act enables the reigning Head of State to absorb the powers of the Head of Government. Thus making the post of Supreme President a more controlled and centealised role. Solentian people deserve the right to live their own lives, by ensuring that the government is kept to a minimum, we can endorse that way of thining in a positve and pro-active way.

A consolodation of the two roles of Head of State and Head of Government, shall ensure that government employees are kept to a lower standard (i.e a single Presidential staff rather than two) and shall ensure that the state begins it's long process of handing power BACK to the people.
