Message | We also need to convey our complete and utter disdain for our enemies. Oppose. |
Date | 18:11:50, September 08, 2005 CET | From | Inrala no Ikolowagitou (Green) | To | Debating the Ethical Warfare Bill |
Message | We applaud these pacifistic ideals, however they need to be tempered with a degree of practicality. Continued research into biological weaponry is required for defence against those who posess them. The weapons themselves are dangerously uncontrollable, and we would be better off without them. Until there is a credible international move towards nuclear disarmament, we regretfully feel we must retain a retributive capability. We would, however support a "no first use" policy. |

Message | Absolutely not! |
Date | 04:41:23, September 09, 2005 CET | From | Centrist Democrats | To | Debating the Ethical Warfare Bill |
Message | Why can we not be the leaders of a movement toward nuclear disarmament? If every country waits for others to act before acting themselves, no action would ever be taken. |
