Bill: Dog Excrement Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Fiesta-Siesta Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2109
Description[?]:
The FSP humbly proposes that sets of bins with small plastic bags (for the disposal of dog excrement) be set up around urban areas of the Empire with appropriate signs/publicity measures around them. The situation is becoming intolerable. The behaviour of dog owners is getting steadily worse. The streets are full of it. One must tread carefully. This is not acceptable. Parallel to this we propose a system of fines for offenders similar to those operating in almost every other civilized nation. 1st time offender owners fine: The current price of 30 litres of petrol in SEN. 2nd time offender: The current price of 60 litres of petrol in SEN. Gross offenders: The current price of 100 litres of petrol in SEN. and confiscation of their dog license and dog. |

Message | We don't support this. Quite frankly, why on Terra should the national government of the Empire give a shit if owners let their dogs do so in the middle of the park? Certainly, local governments should be allowed to ban dog feces, but this seems a pointless bill. |

Message | We have always had mixed feelings when stepping in la mierda... good luck coming... until the next step? It is a shame that the FCC cannot cloak its wish to win more votes by being purely contrarian in a better disguise. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
