MessageCars are just as dangerous and I do not see you trying to ban them. The less cars the better. You have left our civilians at risk and violent gun crime has gone up since we banned them.

MessageActually, unbiased studies have shown that there is no correlation between widespread gun ownership and reductions in crime. Common sense also tells us that that is a ridiculous argument to put forward.

We have consistently tried to reduce car usage. It is our party who put forward full funding of public transport. It was our party who proposed the current law about dissuading private car use. We also tried to limit the number of cars, by raising their price, by requiring only environmental fuels. The less cars the better.

MessageYes it was and because of it, hospitals have noticed an increase in gunshot wounds (see Tukarali Medical Journal) . We have to find ways to curb it and banning all guns will not solve the problem but make it worse, this is the next best thing. Either that or we set up in such a way that those who have a violent past or mental disability from ever owning a gun.

MessageWe have not banned guns, just recreational gun ownership. And you will find that later studies in the University of Sangon Law Journal, academics have panned the findings in the Tukarali Medical Journal as biased and unscientific. There is no data that injuries from guns have increased, indeed, quite the opposite.

It does not follow that reducing gun ownership increases crime from guns. Not only is that offensive to common sense, there is no legitimate unbiased research to back it up.

Message"just recreational gun ownership"

That's the problem. You just banned skeet shooting, clay shooting, hunting, and others that I am sure I am missing. You fucked this up royally.

MessageSorry to say, but your comparison to cars is way crazy. Cars have a usefull function (transporting people and all kinds of stuff), guns don't.

MessageWe're certainly in favour of regulating gun ownership, but we will lend our support to this proposal.
