Bill: CP.0034.2531 Reverse DSP Environmental Bill of 2463

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2532

Description[?]:

Lourenne has been given enough of our money. 7 Billion SEK a year? No. This has to stop.

Striking down this old bill will be a good first step in reducing Sekowo's governmental waste from the previous socialist governments.

Endangered species are already protected by current Sekowan AND Lourenne laws. Thus the reason of the original bill is not longer valid.

This bill is not contesting what the situation was at that time in 2463 but this law's expiry date is long overdue.

The effects of this bill will be included in the next budget of the Minister of Finance.

MessageThat is the only money we give to Lourenne, period.
We did give them a one time economic boost package decades ago, but that was only for one time.

While we do not oppose lowering this, we do oppose all out stopping it.
We believe that we should still be providing one to three billion to keep joint environmental protection programs funded.

OOC:
Technically, the time period this was passed, their was a Libertarian government in charge, not a Socialist one.

MessageThe CP recommends to the DSP to propose a new economic aid package for Lourenne with specific goals and expiration time that would be reviewed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and then put to a vote.

OOC:
Typical socialist. If it's not the capitalists' fault, it's the libertarians'. =D Only joking. A bit. =D
