Message | Here here! Why look to the laws of the captor powers to determine how to treat POWs? If the captor powers are barbarians in their treatment of POWs, are we not then looking to barbarians for moral leadership on the treatment of POWs? In the Great Anti-Fascist War, fascist POWs, known for their brutal treatment of prisoners of all kinds, were shamed by the humane treatment they received at the hands of their Alorian captors. *That* is the Aloria I love. Let Aloria be that shining city on the hill of hope, and leadership, and right and good for all the world to see. Thank you, my friends in the Conservative-Liberal Monarch Party, for bringing this law to the Parliament. --Prime Minister Colton White, floor of Parliament. |

Message | "Thank you for that comment Prime Minister, but for this law to be passed I and the rest of the party need to convince the other parties of Aloria that this bill needs to be passed and not to be defeated. Aloria must, as it is currently, respected internationally and of course nationally. I feel that this bill is another step forward to be even more respected by everyone on Terra and if this bill is refected it is infact a step backward." ~ John King ~ |

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman |
