Bill: Educational Reform #2

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2533

Description[?]:

Might as well as take another stab...

BELIEVING that schools focus too much on standardized tests

CONDEMNING government incentives to schools, as the schools become greedy and focus on the test only

FURTHER CONDEMNING the focus on the group in general, not the focus on the importance of the individual

NOTING that some students need education at a slower pace than the tests call for, and some at a faster pace

FURTHER NOTING that schools, unless having a specific focus, are not charter schools and should not force students to learn only about a career

REFERENCING the profound positive effect that individual creativity has on a student, and their overall WANT to learn, and their overall ABILITY to learn

ALSO REFERENCING that standardized tests can help, but should not be the primary focus of schools

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.

Random quote: "What are you trying to protect heterosexual marriages from? There isn't a limited amount of love in Iowa. It isn't a non-renewable resource. If Amy and Barbara or Mike and Steve love each other, it doesn't mean that John and Mary can't." - Ed Fallon
