Bill: Anarch Anakrousite Reform Bill - Industrial Hemp
Details
Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2109
Description[?]:
The AAP believes that industrial-grade hemp should be freed from the restrictive control of government. As it stands, only certain regulated companies can produce industrial hemp, which creates something of an informal monopoly. The AAP sees no reason why industrial-grade hemp should be so rigourously controlled, and seeks to open it up to the market. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Policy concerning industrial hemp.
Old value:: Only regulated agribusinesses may produce industrial hemp.
Current: Industrial hemp regulations are left up to local governments.
Proposed: There are no regulations on industrial hemp.

Message | Industrial Hemp is the same type of plant as marijuana - but is not a drug. In fact, Industrial Hemp reduces the potency of nearby marijuana plants, through cross-pollination. It grows in almost any soil, without fertilizers or pesticides. The fibers can be used to make anything from auto parts, or bleach-free paper to high-quality fabric. Its seeds are a nutritious snack or a source of luxurious oil... etc. It is basically non-drug marijuana, and has incredible industrial properties. |
