Bill: Official Religion - recognize our heritage!
Details
Submitted by[?]: Tukarali Popular Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2534
Description[?]:
We are unaware exactly why it has come to the situation we see today... if it is out of concern for minorities or simply caused by a misunderstood secularization... The fact of the matter is that by recognizing a specific religion as having a special place in the hearts and traditions of our great country is by no means the same as undermining minorities. All religions experiance a great level of tollerance and freedom in our nation, this will surely not change with this reform, and having a state religion does not mean having religion mixed in politics, infact alot of modern cases does say otherwise. Therefore we ask, be proud of your heritage, recognize our historical roots and traditions, do not be ashamed of who you are... Vote yes to establishing a state religion! |

Message | All countries have roots and heritage, all countries have religions, all countries have religions with certain roots in the heritage and traditions of said country... I am talking in general terms... You really need to relax a bit, no one is out to get you, if you disagree with what is being proposed, make a logical argument or simply state your disaproval in a nice language, not that hard to do. |

Message | Every tribe in our nation has a distinct heritage and distinct traditions, and not every tribe is religious. To lump them all together is doing a disservice to each and every citizen in our nation. |

Message | oppose there has been no discussion since I have joined this nation that it has ever had a state religion even if it did, there is no advantage to adopting one since this is the number one gross violation of separation of church and state I can think of as in, this party will never vote for any type of bill that violates separation of church and state |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
