Bill: National Defense Act of September 2533

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Republican Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2534

Description[?]:

To Our Respected Colleagues,

This bill may seem quite a contradiction in terms, even Chairman Naveed felt as if this wasn't enough to further our goals in protecting the citizens of our proud and prestiges Republic. In the spirit of reaching common ground with our fellow parties it is our desire to take a small-step in the right and sensible direction. . .

This bill, if allowed to pass, entitles us to our own defense in the most of dire of circumstances. It does not chance our nations laws banning the production or storage of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. This allows us to be prepared for the absolute worse. Imagine my friends, if the worse were to happen-how would you sleep at night knowing it was our negligence that allowed this to happen. The Federal Republican League seeks the support from one and all for the defense of our proud Nation!

With Respect,
Minister of Defense, Ulysses Conrad Rowlins

MessageAlthough we take no joy in resuming nuclear and chemical weapons development, we also do not want to leave Solentia's citizens in the dangerous spot of having fire safety treated like a commodity. We will support.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
