Bill: Call for early elections, December 2534

Details

Submitted by[?]: Republican Coalition

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: August 2535

Description[?]:

We, the Aneist Unionist Party, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. This is to reflect the reactivity of the RSF and the new Hulstrian Liberalist Party, which we wish to bring into government as soon as possible. This should also amend the seeming stalemate in terms of party coalitions.

MessageActually no, because it only brings elections forward by 2 months and it could mean that 2 bills currently in the voting stage (which have popular support) may be reset to the debate stage by the election, further delaying these important changes.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "The experience of ages has shown that a man who works on the land is purer, nobler, higher, and more moral... Agriculture should be at the basis of everything." - Mikuláš Gogolský, former Deltarian writer
