Message | No objection here. Another suggestion would be "Voivodship" (or a word similar, which could apparently be "Palatinate" or something like that). Still nice and Mitteleuropa, but possibly a bit far from Imperial Vienna, although I believe the Dual Monarchy had Voivods/Voivodes. |

Message | Province lacks character though... Sub-Archonate? |

Message | Sub-Archonate would only work if we keep Archon as the government title, which there's no guarantee we will. Governorate? Possibly a bit on the neutral side, but there are governorates all over the world. |

Message | The colonies are called territories so that wouldn't work |
Date | 02:17:02, February 26, 2008 CET | From | Revolutionary Socialist Front | To | Debating the Rebranding Bill V.3 Part 1: Regions |
Message | GPRP, well it is reasonable to assume that any future proposal to change the tile of the HoS position from Archon to something else would contain an accompanying proposal to change the name of regions accordingly. |

Message | Anyone else support Sub Archonate? If so I'll put this to vote. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
