Message(Sorry for third post) We already subsidize the cost of drugs so that the poor can afford them, or we will after your other reform bill passes. Therefore, there is no need to artificially control the prices (which would almost definitely lead to a shortage--just as price controls in China lead to the shortage and the devastating famine of 1958-61, as people simply cut down on production to maintain their previous profitability levels).
