Bill: CAM Retirement Package
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Ordo Malleus (COM)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2550
Description[?]:
Citizens work hard in Telamon over the course of their lives. They must be able to look forward to retirement instead of dreading it. Retirement should not come too late for them to enjoy it. Nor, should they expect to work extra jobs to avoid destitution. A culture is judged by how it treats its lowest denominator and we shall be judged poorly if we do not care for our seniors. |

Message | This bill is no longer necessary since the increase of retirement age advocated by RRP in its Radical changes, rightful support! bill of April 2536 did not achieve sufficient votes to pass into law. Is there is an overwhelming demand amongst the other parties in Parliament to pass this legislation into law? If not, we shall remove this bill from consideration. -Thorden Raxney, Former Prime Minister and CAM Party Leader |
