Message | I don't agree with allowing teachers to hit students, yet I am for devolution. I'm leaning to opposing this also |
Date | 22:35:14, February 27, 2008 CET | From | Judicial Union Party | To | Debating the Teacher Discipline Act |
Message | There is no situtation in which it is acceptable for a teacher to strike a child. Leaving this to local governments will allow that option, and while we are in favour of devolution in principle, this is certainly not a case where it is proper. |

Message | You got our support. |
Date | 23:21:07, February 27, 2008 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Teacher Discipline Act |
Message | Currently, there is no discipline in the classrooms. This act will bring back some classroom discipline and that is why we are proposing this. |
Date | 23:34:36, February 27, 2008 CET | From | Judicial Union Party | To | Debating the Teacher Discipline Act |
Message | There is discipline, students may be given detentions and a number of other non-contact punishments. "Discipline" in your eyes seems to be teachers beating up students. That is wrong, it is disgusting. |
Date | 17:45:22, February 28, 2008 CET | From | Tukarali Graenix Party | To | Debating the Teacher Discipline Act |
Message | I think the discipline needs to be at home. I know if I ever got hit by a teacher my mom would be doing some hitting herself, lol |
