| The amount of Pesticides and chemicals being used in this urban Greenhouse skyscrapers Not to mention excessive water usage, building materials, and land that can be better used for offices and social housing is a waste of not only tax payer's dollars but is also an Urban Biohazard. Costing more to the enviroment than the original intention of the bill, Water, electric, and Soil transportation. And hugely costing the taxpayer more with more workers required to manage the farms, with the upkeep, transportation of soil up, water consumption, and still transportation. These would much better be done in the countryside where good soil is naturally available. While we support the initiatives of the bill the Vertical Farms are quite costly and do not live up to their expectations. However In no part is Urban gardening something we say should be eliminated. | Message | Perhaps if the members of the PPS actually read the laws of Sekowo they would know that pesticide use is incredibly limited and regulated and that water is recycled and cleaned. Vertical farming has not only helped the economy by providing thousands of jobs in cities but also helped the environment by not only allowing vast tracts of land to be able to go back to the environment but has significantly cut the amount of emissions from vehicles that would otherwise drive dozens of miles to the cities. We would also warn other parties to not vote for this, for the PPS is only trying to get their way, and they could destroy our countries economy by organizing massive farmers strikes when they don't get their way. |
