MessageIt's all fairly well to say no to practicing medicines on animals, but are we supposed to practice unknown medicines on humans?

MessageSince animal metabolisms are so different to human metabolism, there is really little or no advantage to be gained from animal testing anyway.

Example - rats (the most commonly used test animal) are incapable of vomit responses, which means 'lethal doses' calculated based on a rat response are literally useless.

Also - our science is sufficiently advanced that, for the most part, laboratory testing is merely a means of corroborating expected results. We can safely do THAT on humans.

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).

Random quote: "By a continuing process of inflation, government can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens." - John Maynard Keynes
