Bill: Slavery Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Radical Conservative Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2115

Description[?]:

The purpose for this bill is to legalize the use of slavery as a punishment for crimes. The RCP feels that if the death penalty is illegal, that there should be a sentence worse than life in prison. Passing this act would be good for the economy, as well as society in general.

MessageWell, I certainly hope that TCP shares our concerns with the prospect of introducing slavery to this country. Perhaps you'll have more luck persuading PEPOT that slavery is a good idea, after all, they're not too keen on individual liberty.

Messageummm, excuse me? Not to keen on individual liberty? Please, we're basically the same when it comes to social and civil rights. I'm sorry if I believe free market dosn't mean free people, but to say that we'd even consider being for slaves is insulting.

Anyway, we already have slaves in this country, they're called workers. Thankyou.

MessageSorry PEPOT, that was a cheap shot. But I see you have ammunition of your own. The old workers = slaves thing again, that's a good one.

MessageThis seems to be a good idea to my party if the sentence of death cannot be applied to offenders of violent crime then maybe we have to look at alternatives like taking away any joy or happiness left in their life for the joy and happiness they stole from another.

Prison is bad but not bad enough for people who deserve death sentences.

The Corporatism party agrees with this bill.

MessageWhy is the proposal so awful? You people don't want the death penalty. What do we do with the serial killers? Life in prison is not enough.

Random quote: Henceforth, the current system of first and second class stamps, where the rich can pay to have their mail delivered faster than the poor, shall be BANNED. There shall be only one class of mail delivery, and ALL mail shall travel at the SAME speed for EVERYBODY. There can be no class discrimination in the People's Post Office! There must be the SAME class of mail service FOR ALL! ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
