Message | If we don't subsidise our poorer farmers, we will lose self-sufficiency in several key foodstuffs, and we will encourage urban sprawl as farmers are forced to sell their land to developers just to pay the bills. This is a terrible proposal. |

Message | It is not the governments responsibility to take care of these farmers. If they are incapable to live of there property, they SHOULD move to the city. Most of our food comes from efficient farmers, not the farmers who own two acres and do nothing but grow a vegetable patch. These are the farmers who are taking all our payouts, because they are the ones not making money. |
