From | Greenish Liberal Democratic Socialists | To | Debating the Continuing Resolution of No Confidence in the Fascists | Message | We regret the RP succumbed to the pressure posed by the TPP.. You are in no way forced to back the TPP party in everything he does just because he's the biggest and might treathens to switch you for the JUP in a next cabinet.
TPP is dividing us, and tries get as many parties on his side by ridiculising the left opposition. Off course, the fact that some of the left accusations are in fact a rather emotional yell ("this is fascist") in stead of a simple constructive explanation why these far-right policies are totally wrong doesn't help the cause much, and makes it even easier for him to paint them as loonies.
We'ld also want to call on the more moderate and the right-of-centre parties to take back a more authoritarian or religious stance, they'ld easily get back some of the TPP votes. The TPP is succesfull because he voted yes on all sorts of extreme bills, making all other sensible parties look like leftist liberal tree huggers, which enabled him to conquer all the right-authoritarian votes, of which there're plenty in Tukarali.
We were hesitative in supporting this bill because it lacks a bit of contence, but it this just boils down to a opposition vs the current cabinet, we'll support.

From | Tukarali Popular Party | To | Debating the Continuing Resolution of No Confidence in the Fascists | Message | GLDS - We applaud you for trying to get the debate back on track...
However, you are still painting us as somewhat evil and plotting party, which is by far not true, we havent threatened RP in anyway, nor do I think they would fall for threats, if anything would they react badly to it...
Secondly we are voting as to what our party represent, so should everyone else, this is not a popularity contest from our point of views, but a contest for the direction we want to lead Tukarali into in the future.
And finally, we do not wish to divide the political spectrum, we are willing to work across the political spectrum, and has done so on various proposals. We do not hope to see a clift and conflict of the legislature between opposition and the government. |
