Message | We cannot allow our military to be held to ransom by private companies charging overly high prices for military hardware. The state owned corporation ensures that our military has a choice in supplier, and they will make sure the price is kept low. Private suppliers will compete with the state on an equal footing. The current situation is the best compromise. |

Message | If a certain company charges to high prices, you go to another company, simple as that. And off course, just like any other sector there're anti-trust laws ensuring competition, prohibiting cartels and accompagning artificially high prices. After all, the free market economy is the most efficient way of producing goods and services. Though it's our belief the government should step in in certain cases (eg market failures), we believe this not to be the case here. |

Message | Or, instead of all the regulatory nonsense, we can simply maintain a state owned corporation to enforce competition through the free market. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
