Message | I oppose Church mixing with state, but this is pretty much anti-Religion. Supporting this would be supporting the limitation of the freedom of the people. If a religion wants to start up a school, why shouldn't they be allowed to? If parents are willing to send there children to these schools, why shouldn't they be allowed to? |
Date | 21:50:36, March 03, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Secularisation Bill 3 |
Message | Because that is indoctrinating children, they are restraining the rights of individuals to free thought. Children should be able to make their own minds in terms of religion without the brainwashing of religious schools. |

Message | And you are restraining an individuals right to choose. They can go to religious schools to see what the religion has to offer, and if they don't like it, they can leave |

Message | Actually no they can't, as they are being controlled by their parents in this matter. We should not permit parents to force their children into a religion, their should be freedom of choice for the youth. |

Date | 21:18:11, March 04, 2008 CET | From | Royal Socialist Party of Hulstria | To | Debating the Secularisation Bill 3 |
Message | If the children do not like the religion, they do not have to follow it. It is there choice of how to worship. As an OOC example, I myself attend a Catholic School, but I do not really consider myself Catholic |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
