Details
Submitted by[?]: Kirlawan People's Justice Party
Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: February 2542
Description[?]:
The Kirlawan People's Justice Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic of Kirlawa. A revision of our earlier proposal http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=177221 coordinating it with some of the recommendations which had been made. 1) This one is not a spending increase; the total size of the budget is unchanged, just rearranged. 2) The earlier increases to Defence, to Environment & Tourism, and to Food & Agriculture had drawn opposition; in this proposal, the first two are left alone, and the increase to the third is substantially smaller. 3) Our largest proposed reductions are in the departments of Internal Affairs and Justice. Of the 54 other nations of Terra for whom we have full information, only nine currently spend a greater percentage of their GDP on Internal Affairs than Kirlawa currently does (and three of these nine by only a tiny fraction); 45 spend less. Only five currently spend a greater percentage on Justice than we currently do; 49 spend less. |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
