MessageOkay. So...
President Crazy Diego, charismatic leader of the National Populist Party of Egelion, recently fell victim to a particularly persistent form of flu. The resulting fevered state sent the nations' bombastic leader into several bouts of delirium. During his bouts of delierium, President Diego was convinced, throughout the months of January 2544, February 2544, and March 2544, that it was still in fact the month of 2543 and called for immediate elections. Uncertain of what to do, the state bureaucracy mechanically followed through with the electoral process.

MessageYou know... Diego is not his surname... I'll have to think of a good surname in the next few days. Also he does not need a flu to be in a state of delirium ;)

MessageAsturias de Santillana would be a nice surname i think.
And I'd prefer schizophrenia.

MessagePresident "Crazy" Diego Asturias de Santillana, charismatic leader of the National Populist Party of Egelion, recently fell victim to a prolonged period of psychotic episodes. Previous to his run for the presidency, Asturias de Santillana had been diagnoised with undifferentiated schizophrenia. This diagnosis has since been redefined as paranoid schizophrenia. During his episode, President Asturias de Santillana was convinced, throughout the months of January 2544, February 2544, and March 2544, that it was still in fact the month of 2543 and called for immediate elections. Uncertain of what to do, the state bureaucracy mechanically followed through with the electoral process. National legislators as well were thrown into confusion as disparate orders and fragments of information flew throughout the republic. Amazingly, and despite widespread knowledge of his mental condidition, President "Crazy" Diego Asturias de Santillana won all of the impromptu elctions. He is currently serving his sixth term as President.
