Message | Wow, we felt Forpees would be all for this, talk about "progress". This is not discrimination, this ends discrimination. The nature of a lot of human interaction is based upon economic status. Affrimative action = two candidates for a job are EQUAL in qualification, the minority is given a leg up based upon historical and societal trends, the racial or cultural majority will surely be able to recieve another job. Discrimination is acting upon one's prejudices; whether personal or institutional. This is not discrimination, given that the minority does NOT have the ability to act on their prejudices of the majority. We felt that if anyone, Forpees would see the wisdom in this, given that it would help their oh so precious immigrants. Besides, it is up to local governments to decide upon this factor, if local people wish to pursue or not pursue this course of actions, they have that choice. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
