MessageWhy must the government insist on enroaching on the freedoms of all people? This invasion into personal responsibility by the government will not, and will never be tolerated by the Rutanian people.

MessageThis is not an issue for personal responsibility, this is an issue for responsibility of a whole society. Smoking has to be tollerated by non- smokers, and this endangers their health. It endangers the health of smokers too, but we can let them to smoke. Non- smokers have to be protected. Also, vaccination is a mean of a public health policy, and it is not and it cannot be an issue of personal responsibility.

MessageThe things which you have stated in your argument are in fact matters of personal responsibility. It is not the place of the government to mandate such draconian laws where we demand that people curb their liberties for the sake of all society. It is the responsibility of people to make informed decisions on whether or not they want to be vaccinated, or whether or not they would like to stay in areas that have people who smoke. This is really just a wrongful growth in governmental power that will not be tolerated in Rutania.

MessageYou say: "It is the responsibility of people to make informed decisions... whether or not they would like to stay in areas that have people who smoke." What if they want to stay in areas where people do smoke, but they cannot because it endangers their health? Someone wants to visit a museum, a cinema, a theater, and people smoke there. A non- smoker then has to tollerate smoking. Or, what if someone works in office, and just cannot bear the smoke? Isn't that direct threat to his/her health, and also a violation of his fundamental human rights?

In your view, you think that all people are responsible enough, that all people have enough money, that out there is an ideal situation where everyone can make a choice ("Informed decision"), but you forget that there choice doesn't exist (very often).

If we don't want to give power to the government to make all important decisions for the society, then we don't need one. Then you should resign your posts imediately because there's no reason to have government at all...

The society isn't just a sum of its parts. The personal responsibility doesn't exclude appropriate social responsibility.

Therefore, FDD will continue to fight for this principles, because we think it really represents one of the core ideas of democracy and social well- being.

MessageWe assume that the market and the people will make the most informed decisions about their health and that it is not the government's place to artificially take money or place restrictions on anyones behaviour. It is a much GREATER wrong to have the government impinge on the liberties of the people, and a much greater violation of human rights, to be honest.

MessageWe support Articles 1 and 2, but not Article 3. We believe there should be required vaccinations, but exemptions should be allowed.

You are assuming that the so called "No-free-lunch" theorem is valid, and that market and the people are maximally efficient regarding informations. But new scientific research shows it's not totally correct. The market (and also the society) NEEDS some form of regulation which prevents it from crash (or other unpleasant event).

@Fair and Equal World Party

We are ready to make some changes. Although we strongly believe in a need for vaccination for all children (as a mean of stopping diseases which ruins people's life, and also empties their pocket, and makes them not appropriate workers- if we think as capitalists, which we in FDD are not), but we can support a law (propose it) with tobaco regulations only...

Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.
