Date | 23:25:41, March 17, 2008 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Private School Reform Act |
Message | We have to make sure that our children are prepared to face the world. Unregulated schools do not do this. |
Date | 23:28:48, March 17, 2008 CET | From | Judicial Union Party | To | Debating the Private School Reform Act |
Message | All schools will teach the basic skills necessary. That is not an assumption, that is the law. If they do not, they are breaching their contract with the parents, and they will be punished. |

Message | Um...no. It is not the law that all schools must teach the basic skills necessary. Where did you get that from? |
Date | 23:57:50, March 17, 2008 CET | From | Judicial Union Party | To | Debating the Private School Reform Act |
Message | When a parent sends their child to school, they do so on the assumption that that school will teach the child. If they do not, that is a breach of contract. In addition, the law of our nation provides that education is compulsory, that is education, not going to school. If a school does not provide a reasonable education, then that law has been breached. |

Message | What goalposts? The law already deals with anything that your proposed could deal with, in a way that won't saddle the private schools with needless regulation. |
