Message | By restoring morality and strong ethical values you mean "YOUR" morality and YOUR ethical values, for they are not mine, nor my party's. We stand opposed to this flagrant disregard for civil liberties and authoritarianism. - Ragnar Danneskjold - |

Message | The parliamentary Conservative Party follows traditional family values Mr.Speaker, not just the ideas of our leaders, but of our members and of many Rutanians. Regarding Article 1, I trust that the Freedom Party not oppose a stable family home? Every child has the right to a mother and father, a maternal and paternal influence has been proven to be the most suitable environment in which to bring up a child, and as such, we support that BOTH must be present in order to adopt a child who has already suffered. Regarding Article 2, we feel that crossdressing, in it's present form, is not suitable for the general public. All citizens deserve the right to be free from needless embarrasment. Regarding Article 3, for the protection of the public all citizens should be free from harm, this is a preventative measure and a point in Anti-Terrorist policy. Message | Strongly opposed. This are not ethical values which I would like to build Rutania on. |

Message | Even if the values of the Parliamentary Conservatives are the values of some of the people, those who don't share their values should not have to have their own beliefs suppressed by unnecessary restriction. How can we make the generalization that all couples will be more "stable" caretakers than non-couples? Just because you're married doesn't necessarily mean you're "stable." "Needless embarrasment" is the last thing our government should be worried about. Global health, poverty, diplomacy - these are the things we need to think about, not fighting a war on embarrassment. If people want to crossdress, they should be allowed to. The only people they may be embarrassing is themselves. If they don't feel embarrassed, good for them... They've got more guts than I do. - Anton Aargau, FEWP candidate for Head of Government |

Message | Surely however, you can all see that a home with both maternal and paternal influences brings both equality and equilibrium to a family, and to the Rutanian family structure, and this should be something that the state provides for all children that are up for adoption. I dont know about you Mr.Aargau, however I feel these children have been through enough dont you? The needless embarrassment comment was however, taken out of context and also misinterpreted. The embarrassment is for those people in the streets who are forced to endure displays of sexual indecency whilst simply going to work, or shopping etc...How intolerable that our citizens should feel uncomfortable. Each citizen has the right to be free from feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed and uneasy in their own nation and that is before we begin bringing in the negative impact that such displays have on youth.
