Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2549
Description[?]:
We, the Likatonian Convocation, propose an immediate truce with the Lodamese government, in order to provide the requisite climate for engaging in full diplomatic dialogue with the intention of avoiding a currently foreseeable humanitarian crisis in the region of Rapula of Lodamun. We call upon the Lodamese Parliament of Free Peoples to pass a bill akin to this one, to declare their intended agreement with the truce. |

Message | Against. They declared war on us, we are in a state of war and as soon as they start ethnic cleansing Rapula of our people, we should send in our troops. As an aside, I thought the DWP were resigning from the Convocation? |

Message | Besides, it's not up to us to vote against Lodamuns declaration of war and on top of that we've already passed bills contrary to this proposal of the DWP. To be honest, this bill in pointless. |

Message | It's not useless, CLP - if both this bill AND a similar bill in lodamun managed to pass, there'd be an immediate mechainsm for cessation of hostilities. |

Message | We support this, on principle. While this may appear to conflict with our posture on some similar legislations, there is really no conflict - we want peace, and will make huge efforts to secure it. On the other hand - we WILL condemn Lodamese aggressions. |
