Bill: Goverment Control of economy

Details

Submitted by[?]: Telamon National Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2113

Description[?]:

We should let the goverment control the main part of the economy so that the people can decide who they want to run it and then they can hold the goverment responsible and vote them out if they handle it wrongly. Under private companies the people are stuck with the private comanies and have no power over it.

MessageIf the goverment owns the major industries we wont see jobs shipped off to other places who will pay cheaper labour, we are currently seeing that in the UK with india. I see this policy as protecting the economy and the Telamon work force.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "It is said, 'Pontesi is Jelbic in nature'. But I tell you, they are really a lost tribe of Selucians, forced to become barbarians by their savage Jelbic conquerors." - Alamar Xarfaxis, former Pontesian politician
