| Aid is not only a waste of money, it can be detrimental when it undercuts the prices of domestic growers overseas. If we do give aid, we should only do so with a committment by the revieving nation that it will stamp out corruption, improve its human rights record, democratise, increase free trade, liberalise its economy and allow an Endralonian embassy, etc. Aid should not become a means for dictators to prop up their corrupt regimes. |
