MessageNo to enforcing shelf lives? So stores should be able to sell unsafe groceries? We would hope that position might be reconsidered.

MessagePopular Liberal Party, we have a ethical code that demands all bills be given proper time for debate (about a day) before being put up for a vote.

Message...as I'll try to follow more closely, as I said in response to your message. This was actually up for debate for about half a day, although it was the half that most Americans were sleeping. Nevertheless, I'll try to follow that rule more closely and recognize that it should be close to a day.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
