Description[?]:
CLP Deputy Leader Mark Lampard, who is leading a drive to remove Greater Likatonia from CLP Party Policy is calling for the resignation of the current Defence Minister Gerard Weiss. "Weiss has been Minister for Defence for a long time. He was Minister for Defence for a considerable amount of time during the war with Lodamun and he was Minister for Defence when the atrocities were committed. Such as our flattening a Rapulan city and our nuclear strike on a Lodamun city, killing two million Lodamun civilians. Also during his reign, there was a Lodamun nuclear strike on Likatonia, killing a million of our people. The Defence Minister also stood idlely by while Lodamun ethnic cleansed North-East Rapula of Likatonians, using chemical and biological weapons to murder over a million Likatonians in Rapula." "Surely his failure to defend Likatonia is enough to call for his resignation" "there is also a corruption issue facing Weiss, considering the GLNF have publically admitted to have 'had substantial holdings in a number of Selyan arms manufacturers, which may well be worth billions of LIK." "therefore we call for the resignation of Defence Minister Gerard Weiss. |

Message | Mr Weiss is currently unable to answer these charges, as he is unexpectedly out of the office, but we are sure that upon his return, he will be able to fully explain his actions. This Bill is clearly designed to influence the public and the media, and wastes Convocation time with it's grandstanding. |

Message | Deputy Leader Mark Lampard responds "it's a similar bill to the GLNF vote of no confidence in Emissary Moore. The only difference here is Minister Weiss had a 'hands on' approach to the War with Lodamun and as Minister for Defence during that conflict, he bears a huge responsibility for what went on." |

Message | We absolutely support this bill, and any bill where those responsible for mass atrocities are held up for scrutiny. We believe that Weiss was involved deeply in the wartime barbarism, and "just following orders" from the CLP tyrants is no excuse. Weiss MUST be held accountable, tried... and if necessary, executed for his crimes. |

Message | Talking is not the same as doing. We are waiting for the SuDJ to vote in favour of this motion. |

Message | We said we would. We are unpartisan on this issue. The criminals responsible for genocide must be held responsible. |
Date | 01:23:04, March 28, 2008 CET | From | Likaton Coalition of the Willing | To | Debating the Vote of No Confidence in Defence Minister Gerard Weiss (GLNF) |
Message | Given that Mr Weiss has been killed by the actions, albeit indirectly, of the CLP, it is in very bad taste that they have pushed this to the floor again. |

Message | We shall support this action, although it DOES appear to have become slightly... irrelevent? |
Date | 12:16:43, March 29, 2008 CET | From | Democratic National Party | To | Debating the Vote of No Confidence in Defence Minister Gerard Weiss (GLNF) |
Message | Because of the constant elections (a.k.a. "uh-oh the people voted for CLP, what should we do? let's have another election. Uh-oh they voted for the clp again ... ehh let's have another election and see what happens... oh god they voted for them again... maybe we should have another election and back the DWP and see what happens... oh no they voted for the CLP again... how about another election and we'll back the GLNF... ahhh that's better), this bill just hasn't been able to go forward. We feel it's neceassary to be archived at the least and perhaps for the war inquiry for the chairman of the inquiry to see which parties did what after the war. |

Message | The CLP are spouting nonsense. We in the SuD cannot explain why there might have been multiple emergency elections - we haven't called any recalls ourselves. We have been backing DWP candidates for the last few election cycles, except where we have supported the GLNF... but we're not sure why that's supposed to be bad, or how it is any of the business of the CLP? We agree with archiving, if necessary... but we've supported this bill everytime it has come to the floor. |
