Bill: Workers' Rights Protection Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Dorvik People's Liberation Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2554
Description[?]:
"Don't like your job? Too bad. People losing limbs in industrial accidents? Suck it up. On-the-job deaths? Deal with it." If workers can't strike without fear of being fired, then we might as well just write the above into legislation and be done with it. If we want to guarantee safe workplaces and a decent wage for our citizens, we have to allow them to organize. |
