| OOC: May 2557 Recognizing that the current situation within the Deltárska Federácia represents a serious threat to the safety and prosperity of Kafuristan and to all of Majatra, the Majilis Al-Sha’ab of the United Emirates of Kafuristan does hereby authorize the use of military force to restore order and stability within Deltaria and between Deltarian factions. Henceforth, the armed forces of Kafuristan are tasked with enforcing a state of order and stability within the Deltárska Federácia. Any individual or faction engaged in military operations within Deltaria shall be considered the enemy of Kafuristan and shall be targeted by Kafuristani forces. Consequently, the following forces shall be mobilized for use against all hostile forces within Deltaria: Naval mobilization: The Horned Sea Viper and a contingent of other military ships shall be placed off the Deltarian coast, to conduct air operations against targets in Deltaria and the Majatran Sea and the corresponding air space. The K-Explorer and a contingent of other military ships shall be placed off the Deltarian coast, to conduct air operations against targets in Deltaria and the Majatran Sea and the corresponding air space. Air Force mobilization: All Kafuri air force assets are placed on high alert. Defensive operations only at this time. All ground forces are placed on high alert. OOC: Military strength of both nations: Kafuristan: Active - 1,467,133 Reserves - 1,100,350 Deltaria: Active - 1,152,204 Reserves - 864,153 |

We're outspending them on Defense by 3 trillion Kafuris to their 100 billion "Telars". I don't know what the exchange rate is exactly, but it would have to be pretty heavily in their favor for them to have superior equipment. As far as actual troop numbers, I have no idea. They have 30 million citizens less than we do, but their percent of fanatical militarists might be higher. I admit though, I would rather see a AAT vs. UNC or something than a relatively tamer 1 vs. 1 war. I don't want to go in with the goal of keeping the AAT from being formed. Maybe we should just not pick a side, pillage a bit, and pull out. Or lose, depending on how things work out. What do you think? |
