Details
Submitted by[?]: Republican Coalition
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2555
Description[?]:
KHP propaganda would have the legislature believe that Christianity is the dominant way of life in the nation, this is completely false, the beliefs being as follows on religion: fanatical secular 14.5% extreme secular 13.3% convinced secular 6.7% moderate secular 8.7% secular-leaning 6.3% religious-leaning 8.1% moderate religious 8.8% convinced religious 9.9% extreme religious 13.2% fanatical religious 10.5% Of these only the non-secular (about 50%) are religious at all, let alone the said 70% Christians. Of these 50% it has been in the past been modeled that the top three ranks are Lutherans, so about 33%. The KHP and PRP, in the years in which the old CSC (Centrist Secular Coalition) collapsed, leaving only these two parties in power, replaced religion in the government, turning it into a political matter. Aeneas, in his first decision as leader of the old TJU (now SPU) is proposing this infatuation of the government with religion be ended, together with the brainwashing of youth in education. It should be their decision what to believe, not their parent's. |

Message | No. Not allowing religious schools is anti-religion, as is not allowing prayers in schools. We agree with article one - we are against the rest |

Message | It is not anti-religion, it is anti-indoctrination and ani-restriction of freedom of thought for youths. The youth should be able to choose how to believe and not have teachers and parents force them into one belief or another. |
