Message | As much as my party supports the provisions listed above, it is the opinion of party leaders, that due to many different parties and ideologies involved in our government. That such powers vested in the government may lead to an abuse of said power, which would infringe on the rights of citizens. However, if these laws be enforced responsibly, then they would be excellent provisions to boost nationalism and national unity, and to fight those entities who criticize the government in such ways that threaten national loyalty. However, that product cannot be guaranteed as these powers may very easily be abused, thus, as of now, the UPSP does not support these provisions. |
