Message | We the DCD cannot support this bill because of Articles II, III, IV, and V. We veiw Articles II and V as inappropriately invasive. Our standpoint is that no curch, for profit or not, should be subject to undue regulations that would be forced upon no other private business or institution. We cannot support article III as it would mean the strict regulation of a private institution. Although we recognize the role of the government to regulate public institutions, those which are privately funded and operated shall not be subject to strict regulations of any government. We cannot support Article IV unconditionally as most curches are non-profit organizations and should not be subject to the same taxation laws as private for-profit businesses. We strongly urge our close partners the LSD party to stand down from their aggressive attacks on religious institutions. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | We cannot support this bill because of its articles. The proposed changes to Telamon's stance on religion are both unnecessary and despicable. -Roger Evars, COM Party Leader |
Date | 17:20:10, April 01, 2008 CET | From | Radical Party | To | Debating the Secularist & Religious Devolution Act |
Message | We would support this legislation, but section 4 sets a socialistic precedent that the government can tax any body in the name of the 'greater good'. Saying that, we support its secularist aims. - Kristian Donson - Leader of the Radical Party |
