Description[?]:
We the DCD believe that the central government of Telamon spends too much and is too invasive into matters which should be either left to the states or the private sector. Message | We appreciate the willingness of the DCD to initiate change in their legislation. Unfortunately, article 2 prevents our support. If we supported this bill we'd only have to sponsor a bill reverting the change in article 2 back to the old position. That would be a waste of time, effort, and money for all involved. We wish to avoid the waste by not supporting this article as it stands. If it were to come before Parliament with only articles 1 and 3 there is a reasonable chance that we would support it. Until then we regretfully cannot condone a bill that proposes such drastic change to our national museums. It is bad enough that our libraries suffered the uncalled for cut. Our national museums needn't suffer the same fate. -Roger Evars, COM Party Leader |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
