Bill: Teach the children what they ought to know (RRP)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Rightful Radical Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2555
Description[?]:
We cannot tolerate private schools teaching Telamonian children they way around the world. We must teach them Telamon's history, our old traditions and our views. Ofcourse, if they are a national minority, they can go to their schools, but that isn't why this bill is proposed. Maybe if Likatonia had done this, we wouldn't have to worry about Greater Likatonia. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The education system.
Old value:: There is a free public education system alongside private schools.
Current: There is a free public education system alongside private schools.
Proposed: There is a free public education system and a small number of private schools, which are heavily regulated to ensure they teach adequate skills and information.

Message | This propopsal to fill the heads of our children with propoganda is alarming to the DCD. We do not approve of government tampering with a privatized institution to fit a political agenda. We do not endorse this bill and adamantly urge the Republican Party to vote this legislation down. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | We deplore such an attitude from the RRP. The partisan politics of the Rightful Radical Party is only hurtful to the population of Telamon as the best interests of the people are set aside in favor of targeting and roadblocking liberal parties. We have faithfully endorsed the RRP on the proposal of bills such as "Help the World!" and "Listen to the People!" but in return have only experienced refusal to compromise. We strongly urge the RRP to reconsider their disdainful approach in working with opposing parties for the sake of the people of Telamon. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |
