Message | How can a party that within it's platform desires a separation of church and state support such a bill; I'd love for this to be clarified by the Con Party. |

Message | OOC: The taxation of religion IS a secular policy... Religion is just another money grabbing organization that will be taxed. |

Message | OOC: I didn't ask you out of character, though if you'd like to clarify it. Excellent non-committal answer though. It is indeed secular and for a party that has in it's profile it strives for the 'separation of church and state' and furthermore calls itself Conservative. I guess I just missed something. Honestly, I could care less I just find it very hypocritical as anyone would and thus my question for clarity. If you'd like to in-game, feel free. Cheers. |

Message | We would suggest that the Federal Republican Party leadership fund a bit of research into the use of the English language. The term secular is defined as "not pertaining to or connected with religion." In this manner, both this bill and the Conservative Party of Solentia are secular in that both seek to further seperate church from state. And I might remind the Federal Republican Party that religion is not necessary for morality, and a religious fanatics does not a conservative make. James Devreau, Inner Party Leader |

Message | OOC: Before you use an ad-hominem tactic that you accuse me of, by investing or donating money to the English language. Com'on-grow up. Re-read your own post and tell me that again, would you? |

Message | The Conservative Party must be very delusional given their belief that taxing churches somehow separates the state from the church. It would seem to anyone with the ability to string together formative thoughts of substance that taxing churches in fact, puts them under the thumb of our government and leads to potential oppression of sects of varied religions. Your words are as garbled as your platform, with no respect due. And I've not said anything about "religious fanatics does not a conservative make." Again, you must be hearing things, Sir. Also, we need no reminding that morality doesn't come from religion though-it is surprising to hear you admit this. I've a shred of faith in you, no pun intended. Signed, Party Spokesman, Ron Seigler |

Message | Taxing a church is justified by a church's position as a profit earning entity. No further comment will be made upon this matter by the CPS. CPS Ranking Senator John Downs |

Message | We are pro church but do not condone profiteering in the guise of Faith. This bill will end that. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
