My name is Jean DuCroix, and this - this - is my first speech before this noble legislature. I stand before you as a loyal and proud imperial citizen of the Empire Republicáin d'Alduria, and it is my belief and conviction that Alduria has never been so strong as today. We are a proud nation, of virtuous women, and honest men. We are an independent state. We are a great power. We have a young, charismatic and dynamic leader. It is a privilegie to enjoy this peace, to enjoy the benefits which the imperial order is giving to us all. And I hope that all the senators, including our noble fiends... uhm... friends from the opposition, realise that this gift, the gift of peace brought to us, is made possible by the wisdom of this constitution which we have. My predecessor and mentor, Fredérick Varanzý, who sits in a meeting with the department of Trade and Industry, managed to keep this house standing. I will aim to consolidate this government, and solidify this era of growth, peace and prosperity. We must prevent the rot of materialism, cosmopolitanism, consumerism and atheism from infesting this body, and uphold a spirit of charity, love, compassion and strengthening of traditional Aldurian values. Gone are the days when people mocked our great nation. Gone is the chaos of the 25th century, of the turmoil of '02-'13. Gone are the days of the AF War in 2539-2543. Here is the golden age of Alduria. VIVE VILLAYN. |
