MessageThe GLNF, and it's offshoot, APOL, would rather see this cabinet than one made out of commie rebel terrorist scum.

Obviously.

MessageSo the CLP snubbed the will of the APOL, and - arguably - the people of Likatonia?

MessageWe would be happy to serve in government with either the SUDJ or the APOL.

If in government with just the SUDJ we would demand 4 cabinet seats, including the foreign affairs portfolio, which we would see as the right of the second largest coalition partner. However judging by the other joke of a cabinet, we think we could get a few more ministries at the expense of the SUDJ, but we would honestly, we're entitled to four in this proposal.

On the other hand, if in government with the SUDJ and APOL, we would demand 3 positions. The APOL would be entitled to 3 and the SUDJ would have 7 posts. If such a three legged cabinet were to exist, we'd recommend foreign affairs for the APOL because of our respect for their great experience and knowledge in that area, while the SUDJ would, as the leading party hold the position of Head of Government.

MessageWe proposed this cabinet, which gives the CLP the vital Finance ministry, as well as trade and industry.

We are currently undergoing somewhat of a re-branding, and do not feel that at this time we need or want Cabinet powers. The CLP, on the other hand, deserve the chance to prove they are responsible and fit for government, after what has been a bit of a bad decade. PR wise.

MessageIt's very bad arithmetic and we are not in favour of giving both key positions of HoG and Foreign Affairs to just one party. That's not democratic or transparent.

This is a bad deal for the CLP, giving us half the ministries we the political arithmetic entitles us to were a SUDJ-CLP coalition to exist. Furthermore we think handing the HoG and FM to one party is a bad deal for the country.

We're not populist and we won't bow to flattery.

If the CLP are to be in government, it must be fair and there must be mutual respect.

On an aside, the APOL have been satisfied to serve in government with the PCLRA for some time now, so why the change of heart, likewise for the SUDJ who have described us as monsters.

MessageWe are not sure what this sense of entitlement is,... the CLP would 'demand 4 cabinet seats'?

The APOL and SuD can occupy the entire portfolio without any external parties. If the APOL had wished, they could have created this exact cabinet with themselves in palce of the CPL, and it would have passed. They could have proposed this cabinet with ALL the seats going to the SuD (if they wished), and - so long as they still supported, it would pass.

The CPL are playing dog in the manger. Turning down a perfectly servicable proposal that doesn't even advantage the aprty that proposed it, because the CPL feel like they want more.

MessageWe feel it's a bad deal for the party and your rhetoric isn't getting us anywhere with regards mutual respect.

We'd be happy for the SUDJ and APOL to be in a coalition if that's what they wanted and the numbers fall your way.

But with regards our inclusion, we would want a fair proposal. And we wouldn't want just one party to control the HoG and FM positions. We would never support that, it gives too much executive power to just one party.

MessageYes. Dignity. And no seats. And you'd rather have this 'dignity', than a voice in the Convocation to represent The People of Likatonia.

How we wish our dignity were so dear.

MessageWe aren't playing. It is simple. We have tried to share power with the CLP.

We have tried to share power with th PCA, who appear to be the brains of the PCLRA partnership.

If both fail...sharing is not vital, just nice.

Our cards, if you must, are that we can propose any SuDJ cabinet we like, and pretty much be certain that it will pass if all parties support. So if the only parties who will agree are us and them, so be it.

MessageYes well honestly this isn't sharing, it's throwing a few crumbs to the CLP.

NO.

This is not a fair cabinet. Furthermore by means of the HoG and FM, it gives far too much power to one party. This is our final position on the matter.

Honestly we believe the APOL/GLNF should propose a cabinet with themselves and the SUDJ. That's the way the political arithmetic worked out - that's what the people wanted.

And if the APOL are incapable of doing that, then they should sit back and allow the PCLRA to run the country - at least they've stood up to do the job.

MessageThe CLP stand by our principals.

We believe in fairness in government and we believe no one party should control both HoG and FM.

And any coalition we have proposed have always given a fair number of seats to the APOL and we have never asked for the two key executive positions of FM and HoG.

Nonetheless we thak the APOL and SUDJ for their thoughts and wish both parties the best of luck in your APOL/SUDJ/PCA government.
