Message | I disagree with a lot of these, which you probably expected. :-) We could vote for Articles 3 and 10 (on contraceptives and privacy). Most of the rest, it's just an ideological disagreement between us, so I won't waste time arguing them. However, article 2 on civil defense is a very bad idea, especially with tensions rising between us and Kanjor. Even a libertarian should agree that part of the government's legitimate role is to provide for the defense of its citizens. If we make no provision for civil defense, we could condemn millions of our citizens to death if there is a nuclear attack or major disaster in one or more of our cities. |

Message | I also disagree with the majority of these points. I am surprised with article 16, especially with your bills threatening to invade Kanjor. Private companies develop all of our military's weapons, including the chemical weapons. If we went to war with Kanjor, they could buy chemical weapons built in Gaduridos, and use them against us. |
Date | 21:49:14, September 15, 2005 CET | From | Gaduridos National Party | To | Debating the laissez-faire |
Message | The GNP disagrees with all except article 2 (civil defence) |
Date | 00:12:00, September 16, 2005 CET | From | Communist Party of Gaduridos | To | Debating the laissez-faire |
Message | Absolutely not. |
Date | 03:13:19, September 16, 2005 CET | From | National Libertarian Party | To | Debating the laissez-faire |
Message | This is just show the voters my ideologies, I dont expect this to pass, also I am getting rid of article 2, I misread it so that it said it forced private buildings to make shelters. |
