Bill: Tri-Decadal Army Expansion of 2542 (2559)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2559

Description[?]:

As many of you remember several years ago we passed legislation to provide the full extent of the military's funding to one branch of the military for a decade for three decades, each decade dealing with each of the three branches. See: http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=167060

As per legislation this is the resulting purchases and spending of the Army. Many thanks to USMC and DSP for contributing ideas, suggestions and recommendations.

Peter Kurt Baumgartner
Minister of Defence

MessageMight you factor in some vehicles from an idustry we sponsor, Bisena Defence Industries, you can find them on our wiki, there is a link to them on my page. We currently have around 100 of their heavy tanks, the BDI-2500 if you want to take a look at its stats.

MessageUSMC, I will look into it when I get back home tomorrow.

IC, no artillery? Howitzers are the artillery, mate. I believe the 2S30 Iset can shoot up to 30km. =) Long range enough? I will change the name to artillery to make things a bit more clear then.

MessageI have some suggestions for various things.

Note: If I say estimate it's because I have no idea how much they will cost, usually because they are'nt in production yet, or because information on their cost is not readily available.

-Crusher autonomous UGCV. Multiuse, 3 million each (estimate).
-Multifunctional Utility/Logistics and Equipment (M.U.L.E) robot, 1 million each (estimate)
-RBS 70 portable air-defence system, 30,000 each (estimate, based on similiar systems of the same age)
-M110 Semi-automatic sniper rifle 10,000 a piece (estimate
-CornerShot around-corner fire weapon, 10,000 each (estimate)

MessageUMSC, added heavy tanks and jeeps. About the jeeps though, on the Wikia, it states that it costs 6000 SEK which is a bit too low. I am assuming it's more like 60,000 SEK. Maybe not even? I don't know. Could you clarify this a bit?

MessageOh, right you should also add some Kunai knives and Katana's to, as replacements for any that have been broken or worn out over time.

I know it seems odd, but they were included in the original army formation.

MessageDSP, I know they were. But I see little reason to include them again. What reasons did you have for originally including them?

MessageKunai knives, for situations where it comes down to hand to hand combat, such as how the US army is issued survival knives, Katana's for ceremonial things, like how the Marines have swords.

MessageDSP, hand-to-hand, we already have a combat knife that can act as a bayonet. Kunai's are unnecessary. I will include Katanas for ceremonial purposes.
