Message | OOC: I'm divided. Because of the crazy situation that happens in the U.S. when there are no caps. Then again, looking at Europe and things don't get out of hand. |

Message | OOC: Actually, I shouldn't be looking at U.S. at all. Canada has higher caps than the U.S. Today, the House of Commons passed a motion to update 50 year old legislature to up the penalty of harmful consumer products that are recalled. Maximum went from $250 thousand to $5 million per offence. On the other hand, the U.S.' max is $1 million. It's because this year had a record high of product recalls. Oh, well, it's not necessarily a medical-only legislature but should be interesting to see how it plays out. |

Message | We are against. It only furthers a particular negative aspect of capitalism. OOC: People are sue happy enough as it is, while I do believe in compensation, the amounts people try to get here are simply ridiculous. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
