"Our vision for the higher education policy." -Raamiah Galgenstrick, Chairman of the GJA >>>Be it enacted by the Knesset of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu, the following shall become law: 1)(A)In Article VIII, a new section, "Section 1: Higher Education," shall be added, and it shall read as the following: "1)(A)All higher education shall be private, (B) but it shall be free for each student, to be covered by the state. 2)(A)After the completion of his or her Bachelor's Degree studies, a student may apply to continue education. (B)Only the upper fifty-percent of Bachelor's Degree recipients measured by highest student potential, using the criteria of (2)(C) shall be granted funds to continue education. (C)Student potential shall be measured by a combination of (a) past academic performance, (b) applied testing in the practical work field, (c) personal interviews, (d) personal essays of various topics and nature, (e) ability to produce original works of creative expression, (f) ability to produce original solutions to problems, (g) level of ambition, (h) future career plans, (j) awareness of self, (k) empathy and interest in solving local, national, and international problems, and (l) willingness to both hold a job and perform community service while enrolled in studies. 3)(A)"Higher education" is defined as all education succeeding secondary school. (B)"Bachelor's Degree" is defined as a basic four-year, post-secondary degree." 2)(A)It is the intention of this legislature that if any part or parts of this law is/are declared unconstitutional, all other parts shall remain in full force and effect.<<< >>>Be it enacted by the Knesset of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu, let it be resolved that: 1)(A)All public institutions of higher education be auctioned off to private organizations at the end of the academic year succeeding the passage of this resolution, (B) that the funds received be used for the first student funds, and that (C) all governments in the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu shall cease maintaining any institutes of higher education.<<< |
