Bill: Free Secondary Schooling Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Fiesta-Siesta Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2112

Description[?]:

The social conscience of the FSP compels it to move for free schooling for all 11 to 18 year olds. The private sector is just a breeding ground for snobbery, imbalanced and wayward or superior youths and a safe haven for teachers who failred in the state sector. No more private schooling!

MessageThis would overworks teachers, lowering the quality of education for the poor, while preventing those with the means to do so from pursuing a better education. Simply put, while equality in the quality of our schooling is a good thing, it should be done by raising the quality of the worst, not lowering the quality of the best.

We do not support this bill.

MessageWhile we are in general for a public school system, we don't think privat schools should be banned at all.
As far as the privet schools have the same high standard -or higher- like our public schools we like to see them in our Empire.
We shouldn't be afraid so much about elite thinking.
We in the Imperial Senate have to coordinate our society all classes in our beloved Empire meet a social standard for the benefit for all.

In this case we can't support this bill.
