Message | We think in general this is a very good idea but we dont like the idea of the government regulating prices of items that the government doesn't even make or fund. We also think Rutanians aren't stupid people and becuase we allow private companies to make these drugs, there will be compitition for getting people to buy a certain company's item. Our people will not buy overpriced drugs...when companies compete, the people will get the best deal from their own personal choice and they will save money if they choose to. |

Message | Drugs are not cheap. There has to be a lot of money invested in development of some new drug. Small companies cannot handle this (do you read some bussiness news?).. RDF doubts that there is in Commonwealth a lot of these "big" drug companies which have enough money and strength to develop new drugs. Therefore, a major part of drug consumption comes from import, which is OK, but there are no so many drug. Maybe you can buy 20 kinds of pills for cold or something, but for some serious disease? So we thin that regulation is just right. |
